What´s jbs profilen?
jbs profilen is a multiyear silage cover film. Its high UV-resistance guarantees a safe usage for many years. Using jbs profilen is economically and environmentally worthwhile.
jbs profilen is made of polyethylene (PE) with a strength of 500 µm. One side has a dark green colour, the other side is black.
jbs profilen is available in the following standard sizes: 6 x 50, 8 x 50 und 8 x 125 m-rolls. Shorter lengths are available on request.
jbs profilen is being layed across the silo in panels with a width of 8 m. The overlapping sections should not be narrower than 50 cm.
Reliability through strength
jbs profilen protects your silage against damages by birds, game, cattle, storm and hail. You save money because you don´t need additional protection covers.
2 layer protection
Directly on top of the silage is the very thin, low cost hygienic film (40 µ) or underlay film. On top of that is jbs profilen. In this way your silo is doubly airtight. The jbs profilen silage film stays absolutely clean and the small amount of thin hygienic film can be disposed of easily.
An outstanding benefit: air can not penetrate unterneath the silage film when opening your silo as the hygienic film (also called vacuum or underlay film) prevents this from happening. The hygienic film or vacuum film is being pressed tightly on top of the silage surface through the CO2 vacuum. In this way possible heating is inhibited.
Dark green or black
jbs profilen is made of polyethylene. One side of the film has a dark green colour, the other side is black. We guarantee UV-resistance for both colours. You can choose for yourself which colour you want for your silo!

Multifunctional
jbs profilen is a perfect silage cover. Next to that jbs profilen can also be used as protection cover for hay or straw bales to protect them against bad weather conditions. To fasten the cover securely and tightly it is possible to punch in some eyelets. Furthermore jbs profilen can be used at the constructon site or to seal off sheds, shelters or barns. jbs profilen is also suitable for putting in a garden pond.
