Use farmdry^® in combination with straw or saw dust, in dairy cow cubicles, piglet nests und calf hutches.

Usage instructions: Use two to three times per week, daily if necessary; remove farmdry^® if soaked.

Spread farmdry^® in piglet nests before birth. Sprinkle every 2-3 days afterwards.

As for cubicles of dairy cows, use 100 - 150 g of farmdry^® in those areas, where the
udders come to rest as well as further up, close to the neck.

Thus, dry bedding additive is passed from the head part of the cubicle into the sensitive rear area whenever the cows get up or the cubicles are cleaned.

Dust formation may occur when using the product, as farmdry^® is a particularly fine powder. Dusk mask, protective goggles and gloves are necessary to avoid inhaling dust particles into the lung or absorbing them
over the skin and to avoid possible allergic reactions to chlorine. However, only this fine graining assures that farmdry^® spreads well and attaches itself to the litter.

Field trial
Mr. B., postcode 48XXX , Germany, about his experiences with farmdry^® (Farm profile: approx. 200 sows and porkers):

„jbs approached me last September to inform me about farmdry^® . I have tried it out and have been using it in the farrowing crate ever since. We have about 10 farrowing sows per week. Right before birth, we spread farmdry^® in the piglet nest. After that we sprinkle a small amount of product every 2 to 3 days - according to need. I have noticed positive changes especially regarding the piglets' health: The number of  piglets with acute suppurative synovitis decreased enormously - at present, 1 % at the most have to be treated for it. This doesn't only mean a reduction of work load, but also in costs for veterinary drugs. Weeping eczema with skin ablations and staph infections have become virtually non-existent. At the time of birth, farmdry^® has another effect: new-born pigs dry faster. farmdry^® doesn't agglutinate and spreads easily. As I am entirely satisfied with farmdry^®, I now have a supply agreement.“
