Types of animals: To be used in poultry farming.
- binds ammonia and toxines
- good water absorption
- improves house climate, thus protecting the respiratory
ducts
- inhibits growth of mites, flies and other insects
- protects birds from footpad lesions
- enhances slurry and soil
Usage instrructions: Spread a 0.5-1 cm thick layer of jbs kieselyth B before adding the litter and putting the birds into the house (aprox. 3,5 kg/m2). We recommend using a dust mask.
The fine particles mechanically destroy the mail of pupae and insects and inhibit their growth. Insects spread diseases (f. e. salmonellosis spread by the red bird mite) and cause losses.
jbs kieselyth B improves the hygiencial conditions in the bird house. This has positive effects on all aspects of animal health. Improvement of the litter‘s quality (by reducing ammonia and water) may - among others - prevent lesions of extremeties.
Bigger particles of jbs kieselyth B stimulate the animals‘ natural pecking and scratching behaviour. That reduces stress and has a positive side effect on the digestion.
Farms fulfilling the requirements for feed hygiene legislation annexe II may also use jbs kieselyth B as a feed additive. Please contact us for further information. Primary producers according to annexe 1 are legally prohibited from feeding this additive.
