 Desco-Vet teat dip contains the biocidal agent Polyhexanid. Polyhexanid is a broad-spectrum agent (among others effective against Staph. aureaus incl. multiresistant variants, Strept. agalactiae, Strept. dysgalactiae, Strept. uberis, E.Coli) and is exceptionally skin-friendly. The agent is not absorbed by the body, but rather attaches tightly to microbial cell walls, resulting in lasting damage and elimination of bacteria , even at low concentrations.
Desco-Vet teat dip with Polyhexanid is especially suitable for long-term application due to its excellent skin-friendliness.

Desco-Vet 4 fold skin care complex
1. Lanolin: - moisturizing
- rough and cracked teat skin becomes visibly smoother within an hour after application and significantly decreases bacterial colonization of the teat.
2. Allantoin:
- supports regeneration of the teat skin
- acts among other things against keratinisation (Hyperkeratosis)
- teats stay smooth and soft
- soothes strained teats
3. Panthenol:
- accelerates skin-barrier repair
- supports regenerations as well as the natural defense mechanism of the teat skin
- improves elasticity of the skin
- moisturizing
4. Hamamelis:
- stabilizes the barrier function of the skin
- antioxidants prevent cell damage and ageing processes
- accelerates teat canal closure and thus protects the udder against microorganisms
- stimulates regeneration and renewal of the skin
Active ingredients:
100 g Desco-Vet contains 0,3 g Polyhexanid.
